About the event
The OLC Primer Coaching Course is an intensive 8-week program designed to provide foundational training in coaching, aligned with the standards and competencies of the International Coaching Federation (ICF). The course includes a blend of live and self-paced learning, featuring weekly synchronous sessions held on Thursday evenings and two extended Saturday sessions lasting four hours each. Participants will complete approximately 22 hours of live (synchronous) instruction and 8 hours of asynchronous content, including reading, video modules, and practical exercises. The course will be facilitated by Gary Charles Patterson and Chaplain (Ret.) John W. Ellis III, both of whom bring extensive experience in leadership, coaching, and professional development. This comprehensive format is designed to equip learners with essential coaching competencies and prepare them for continued growth and ICF ACC Certification in the coaching profession.
